Spectators: 6702 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1702, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Flavio Domayca got the match started through his kick off. Bermund Pla took the ball and in the 4 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Vidal Cuadra. Vidal Cuadra dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Sauce were awarded a corner in the 10th minute after Maldonado AFC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Ospin Sevilla took the corner. The corner ended in Ospin Sevilla almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Maldonado AFC's Eriberto Andueco did a great save. The Sauce fans' excitement grew in the 16th match minute when Sauce's Martin Ortzi looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Vidal Cuadra made an important save on a dangerous shot by Refugio Rubalcava in the 19th minute. Martin Ortzi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Eriberto Andueco tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Refugio Rubalcava got free with Vidal Cuadra in the 31st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 32nd minute Tino Yzaguirre shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eriberto Andueco saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tino Yzaguirre received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Eriberto Andueco tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sauce's Martin Ortzi got a good chance for a goal in the 41st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ospin Sevilla in the 46th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Eriberto Andueco prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Sauce's Vidal Cuadra proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 47th minute of the match, managed to save Sauce from getting a goal against them. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

55 minutes into the match, Maldonado AFC's goalkeeper Eriberto Andueco had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tino Yzaguirre. Martin Ortzi struck a weak shot in the 56th minute. Eriberto Andueco didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sauce. In the 56th minute, Sauce's Martin Ortzi ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Eriberto Andueco. Eriberto Andueco yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-2. Tino Yzaguirre fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eriberto Andueco having to interfere. When Martin Ortzi came up free with the goalie in the 65th minute, the Sauce fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Martin Ortzi couldn't finish the play. If Tino Yzaguirre had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the last second Eriberto Andueco throw himself and got hold of the ball when Martin Ortzi in the 72ndth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. After 73 played minutes Maldonado AFC got a freekick which was hit by Bermund Pla. Vidal Cuadra showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bermund Pla, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. In the 85th minute Flavio Domayca shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vidal Cuadra saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Refugio Rubalcava in the 93rd minute of play forced Sauce's goalkeeper Vidal Cuadra to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Severo Ibio kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. Sauce's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
