Spectators: 6696 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1696, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Hotz Torroba took the kick off in the first half of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Guillelmus Alsedar during the 7th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 7th match minute, Maldonado AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Guillelmus Alsedar to maneuver through the defense. Maldonado AFC's Eriberto Andueco played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rodolfo Sandines in the 10th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 14th minute, Bermund Pla managed to get in a good position for a shot. Maldonado AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Bermund Pla was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gartxot Lojo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 17 minutes into the match, Gualicho's goal looked a bit too open when Flavio Domayca came free, but Gartxot Lojo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Gualicho's Gervasio Enebro got a free kick in the 18th minute. Gartxot Lojo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Flavio Domayca in the 19th minute of play. Eriberto Andueco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rodolfo Sandines in the 23rd minute of play. In the last second Gartxot Lojo throw himself and got hold of the ball when Flavio Domayca in the 25thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. Rodolfo Sandines received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Eriberto Andueco tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 36th minute, Flavio Domayca got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Gartxot Lojo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Flavio Domayca in the 39th minute of the match. Bermund Pla sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Flavio Domayca had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The wind increased when Flavio Domayca made the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hotz Torroba in the 60th minute of play forced Maldonado AFC's goalkeeper Eriberto Andueco to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gartxot Lojo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Paulo Trejo's shot from short distance in the 62nd minute. 69 minutes into the match, Gualicho's goal looked a bit too open when Flavio Domayca came free, but Gartxot Lojo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Bermund Pla had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 74 played minutes Gualicho got a freekick which was hit by Hotz Torroba. Maldonado AFC were awarded a corner in the 79th minute after Gualicho's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Guillelmus Alsedar took the corner. Elia Canales was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. Severiano Avellana charged in rather forcefully in the 97th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Severiano Avellana the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Severiano Avellana kicked well hit freekick during the 97th minute of the match. When the referee blew the final whistle jeers and boos were heard from the home team's supporters. They were angered to see Maldonado AFC lose a match they had controlled from the kick-off.
