After a defensive mix-up in Chamberlain AFC's zone, Eyague Lizaso stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jacob Deleon came out of the goal and Eyague Lizaso tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The Uruguay AFC fans' excitement grew in the 19th match minute when Uruguay AFC's Jurdan Quiroz looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Jacob Deleon didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jurdan Quiroz went, in the 22nd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Salvador Sorribes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ospin Rivet, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Eyague Lizaso received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Jacob Deleon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 34 played minutes Uruguay AFC got a freekick which was hit by Blanco Rabel. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jurdan Quiroz in the 39th minute of play forced Chamberlain AFC's goalkeeper Jacob Deleon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Txerran Juaristi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Eyague Lizaso to strike the kick off in the second half. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Jacob Deleon, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. If Ospin Rivet had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Txerran Juaristi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Txerran Juaristi might have been able to make a better finish in the 92nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Salvador Sorribes. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Txerran Juaristi ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 95th minute the ball was on its way in behind Chamberlain AFC's goalkeeper Jacob Deleon, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When Baumar Recondo fell near the penalty area in the 98th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Uruguay AFC's protests and gave Baumar Recondo a yellow card for diving instead. In a very dangerous position, a player in Uruguay AFC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 98th minute. Penalty! The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Uruguay AFC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
