The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Dimo Villasuso received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 4th minute. Sazon Mielgo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Havier Argudo hit a great freekick 5 minutes into the match. 11 minutes into the match, Molles's goal looked a bit too open when Dimo Villasuso came free, but Sazon Mielgo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 13th minute, Sixto Lujan sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Molles's Sazon Mielgo didn't even have to move. In the 24th minute Ekain Oquerruri shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cibran Docio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dimo Villasuso struck a weak shot in the 26th minute. Sazon Mielgo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Carqueja FC. 35 minutes into the match, Carqueja FC's Heitor Monterros sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Sazon Mielgo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 46th minute Dimo Villasuso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sazon Mielgo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Dimo Villasuso was the one to do the kick off. Heitor Monterros received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Sazon Mielgo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 57th minute, Andoni Comas reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Cibran Docio. The goal made the score 0-1. If Heitor Monterros had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Atarratze Calderon fell near the penalty area in the 64th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Molles's protests and gave Atarratze Calderon a yellow card for diving instead. In the 64th minute, Atarratze Calderon hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cibran Docio made an important save on a dangerous shot by Andoni Comas in the 68th minute. In the 69th minute, Heitor Monterros left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Carqueja FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Andoni Comas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Molles's Ekain Oquerruri got a good chance for a goal in the 84th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 92 minutes into the match, Dimo Villasuso notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Molles's Sazon Mielgo. Sazon Mielgo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When the referee ended the match the Carqueja FC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
