Spectators: 6726 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1726, VIP seats: 0) An unexpectedly hard shot by Jakue Gandarillas in the 12th minute of play forced Cunapiru's goalkeeper Hernandez Neyda to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 19th minute Gabriel Costilla shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hernandez Neyda saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpected shot in the 21st minute by Xuban Quintianan got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Hernandez Neyda came out of the goal in the 24th minute to try and stop a shot by Tacuarembo AFC's Quique Bonilla. But to his dismay, Quique Bonilla quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. 30 minutes into the game, Tacuarembo AFC's Quique Bonilla nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Hernandez Neyda made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. After some fancy dribbling in the 41st minute, Quique Bonilla managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tacuarembo AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Quique Bonilla was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hernandez Neyda breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 46th minute, Xuban Quintianan reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Bernaldo Zugarrondo. The goal made the score 1-2. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Xuban Quintianan to strike the kick off in the second half. The audience thought a goal was coming when Quique Bonilla got free with Hernandez Neyda in the 61st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a defensive mix-up in Tacuarembo AFC's zone, Esteve Forcada stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bernaldo Zugarrondo came out of the goal and Esteve Forcada tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Xuban Quintianan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 80th minute, Jakue Gandarillas managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tacuarembo AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Jakue Gandarillas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hernandez Neyda breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Jakue Gandarillas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Tacuarembo AFC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
