Bernaldo Zugarrondo made a fantastic save in the 6th minute, when Andoni Comas sent off a good shot on target. If Ekain Oquerruri had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ekain Oquerruri sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Molles booed when Tacuarembo AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Guillerme Errazquin didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Andoni Comas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 26th minute, Ekain Oquerruri managed to get in a good position for a shot. Molles's supporters rose to their feet, but Ekain Oquerruri was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bernaldo Zugarrondo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Bernaldo Zugarrondo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ekain Oquerruri, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 33 minutes, Furman Dineros mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Molles and the Tacuarembo AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Sazon Mielgo made a fantastic save in the 78th minute, when Quique Bonilla sent off a good shot on target. An unexpected shot in the 81st minute by Jakue Gandarillas got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. In the 83rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Tacuarembo AFC's goalkeeper Bernaldo Zugarrondo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 85thth minute of the game Ekain Oquerruri who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Tacuarembo AFC's Bernaldo Zugarrondo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Ekain Oquerruri had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 92 minutes into the match, Molles's goalkeeper Sazon Mielgo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Quique Bonilla. After 94 played minutes, Molles's Furman Dineros shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Bernaldo Zugarrondo came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Molles reached it. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
