An unexpectedly hard shot by Oskitz Polla in the 15th minute of play forced Molles's goalkeeper Sazon Mielgo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Horqueta booed when Molles was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Karlos Casados didn't get a good kick on the ball. Oskitz Polla might have been able to make a better finish in the 23rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Sazon Mielgo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. The referee ignored Horqueta's protests and gave Jerico Caneda a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Horqueta getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Jerico Caneda hit a great ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ekain Oquerruri in the 31st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Selmo Olañeta prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Ekain Oquerruri had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Andoni Comas blasted a shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Selmo Olañeta having to make a save. If Oskitz Polla had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Oskitz Polla to make the kick off. 57 minutes into the match, Molles's goal looked a bit too open when Oskitz Polla came free, but Sazon Mielgo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Oso Curueño succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-1 in the 58th playminute. Selmo Olañeta made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Ekain Oquerruri received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Selmo Olañeta tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Selmo Olañeta tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Selmo Olañeta showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Andoni Comas in the 91st minute of the match. 96 minutes into the match, Molles's Havier Argudo broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
