The crowd rose to their feet as Vicheadero's Christovao Berdugo slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Paulo Parral. That made the score 1-0 after 5 minutes of play. Salomon Olando's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Goyo Miña read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 8th minute of play. Goyo Miña showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vladimiro Abecia in the 10th minute of the match. Elivareo Carcamo struck a weak shot in the 12th minute. Paulo Parral didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Vicheadero. After 13 minutes, Atarrabi Valdeboys mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Vicheadero and the Marley Club players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 13 played minutes Vicheadero got a freekick which was hit by Atarrabi Valdeboys. Salomon Olando received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Goyo Miña tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Marley Club's Mateus Hoyos got a free kick in the 24th minute. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

In the 54th minute Marley Club were awarded a corner. Mateus Hoyos went to the cornerflag to take it. After taking down the ball on Marley Club's corner Mateus Hoyos fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Goyo Miña quite easily take care of the ball. Vladimiro Abecia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Goyo Miña tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Salomon Olando got free with Goyo Miña in the 71st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 72nd minute, Lartaun Lana hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 73 minutes into the match, Salomon Olando notched a goal, 3-1, to the right of Vicheadero's Goyo Miña. Goyo Miña was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 77th minute, Opilano Villalva reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Goyo Miña. The goal made the score 3-2. 82 minutes into the game, Vicheadero's Furtado Sorzano nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Paulo Parral made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-2. Goyo Miña made an important save on a dangerous shot by Salomon Olando in the 95th minute. The Vicheadero support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
