The audience held their breath when Zoilo Marino in the 42nd minute of the game managed to trick the opponents defenses and fired away a shot outside the goal on the Armando Olvera's left hand side. 44 minutes into the match, Itzaina Lombillo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Armando Olvera. Valentin's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Itzaina Lombillo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. With a little luck, Manguera FC's Clodoveo Melgar got control of the ball when Cleto Benedid tried to sneak it across the goal line. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Oinaz Cadenas made a kick off. Armando Olvera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Itzaina Lombillo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Adolfo Escalante received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Armando Olvera tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Eron Barrueta fell near the penalty area in the 62nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Manguera FC's protests and gave Eron Barrueta a yellow card for diving instead. After 62 played minutes Manguera FC got a freekick which was hit by Eron Barrueta. Adolfo Escalante in the 65thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Armando Olvera, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. The audience was convinced that Itzaina Lombillo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Armando Olvera was relentless in the 68th minute of the game. After 75 played minutes Manguera FC got a freekick which was hit by Eron Barrueta. The corner led Valentin's Argi Vuelvetoros to fire away a dangerous shot which Clodoveo Melgar despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball.
