Tercero Volante made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. With 14 minutes on the clock, Bittor Regil commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. Cambranes Galiana took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Faustino Odoardo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Txartiko Garcidueñas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Cambranes Galiana tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Weather Liendo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 27th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 28 minutes, Platon Parral mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Vila and the Belen AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Blasco Nabarro charged in rather forcefully in the 32nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Blasco Nabarro the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The referee ignored Vila's protests and gave Dario Coleira a yellow card for diving instead. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Tabb Fortuño was the one to do the kick off. Dario Coleira thought of kicking away a contribution in front of goal but messed it up so badly that the ball went to the right of an astonished Tercero Volante, a very annoying self made goal in the 52nd minute which led to 2-1. 58 minutes into the game, Txartiko Garcidueñas recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Cambranes Galiana. Txartiko Garcidueñas showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-2. The supporters of Belen AFC booed when Vila was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. The audience thought a goal was coming when Faustino Odoardo got free with Cambranes Galiana in the 91st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With an all-out effort, Vila's Cambranes Galiana threw himself towards the right post 96 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Txartiko Garcidueñas, which otherwise would have been placed in the net.
