Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Edelmiro Bidun took the kick off in the first half of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Dorio Escalada in the 17th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Duardo Marroquin prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After some careless play in the Santiago FC defense, Edelmiro Bidun kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Duardo Marroquin. The Santiago FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Duardo Marroquin should have stopped the shot. Edelmiro Bidun who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 23rdth minute tested the skills of Duardo Marroquin when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 24th minute Ferreira FC were awarded a corner. Ceferino Fero went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Santiago FC's goalie and right to Dorio Escalada. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Santiago FC's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. In the 29th minute, Dorio Escalada hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ferreira FC's Gerardo Suarez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Manni Veidazar in the 32nd minute of play. In the 33rd minute, Gilesindo Baragaño left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Santiago FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. Edelmiro Bidun sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Duardo Marroquin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dorio Escalada in the 42nd minute of the match. Duardo Marroquin stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Dorio Escalada's shot from short distance in the 45th minute.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Gilesindo Baragaño made a kick off. With a little luck, Ferreira FC's Gerardo Suarez got control of the ball when Manni Veidazar tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Ferreira FC's Dorio Escalada in the 58th minute got a chance for a shot 58th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Dorio Escalada in the 68th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Duardo Marroquin saved Santiago FC from getting behind. Duardo Marroquin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edelmiro Bidun in the 70th minute of the match. Manni Veidazar's late challenge caught a Ferreira FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Manni Veidazar helped the player get up and apologised. Manni Veidazar hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edelmiro Bidun in the 76th minute of play forced Santiago FC's goalkeeper Duardo Marroquin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience was convinced that Dorio Escalada's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Duardo Marroquin was relentless in the 81st minute of the game. In the 84th minute of the match Ferreira FC got a corner. Santiago FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. In the 90thth minute of the game Edelmiro Bidun who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Santiago FC's Duardo Marroquin was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 94 minutes into the game, Edelmiro Bidun cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-1. Duardo Marroquin was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Ferreira FC fully deserved thier win.
