The crowd rose to their feet as Larrayos's Elizardo Ilarraza slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Lazaro Barrachina. That made the score 1-0 after 14 minutes of play. Evaristo Guasch sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Larrayos's Eli Lobato got a free kick in the 20th minute. Lazaro Barrachina showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Elizardo Ilarraza in the 25th minute of the match. Bidun Loizaga made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Evaristo Guasch in the 31st minute of play. With a little luck, C.A. The C.A. RIVER PLATE fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. After some careless play in the Larrayos defense, Xantalen Eliseo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Bidun Loizaga. The Larrayos fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Bidun Loizaga should have stopped the shot. Disappointed in the 1-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Evaristo Guasch stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the match, Larrayos's goal looked a bit too open when Evaristo Guasch came free, but Bidun Loizaga reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 58 minutes into the match, C.A. RIVER PLATE's goal looked a bit too open when Elizardo Ilarraza came free, but Lazaro Barrachina reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Larrayos's zone, Evaristo Guasch stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bidun Loizaga came out of the goal and Evaristo Guasch tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Elizardo Ilarraza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Elizardo Ilarraza in the 86th minute of play forced C.A. RIVER PLATE's goalkeeper Lazaro Barrachina to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Xantalen Eliseo was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 89 minutes had been played. Xantalen Eliseo kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. In the 96th minute the ball was on its way in behind Larrayos's goalkeeper Bidun Loizaga, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The Larrayos fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. C.A. RIVER PLATE were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
