Spectators: 6713 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1713, VIP seats: 0) Abayuba's Lluques Zurbano started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. When Gaztea Traspalacios came up free with the goalie in the 6th minute, the Piedritas fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gaztea Traspalacios couldn't finish the play. Gaztea Traspalacios received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Belmiro Jaurigui tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 12th minute the ball was on its way in behind Abayuba's goalkeeper Belmiro Jaurigui, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 16th minute, Jaen Traspuesto left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Abayuba fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Roque Ricaredo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lluques Zurbano in the 22nd minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Piedritas's Mattin Alzedar got a free kick in the 23rd minute. Roque Ricaredo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Lluques Zurbano's shot from short distance in the 33rd minute. After a defensive mix-up in Piedritas's zone, Jaen Traspuesto stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Roque Ricaredo came out of the goal and Jaen Traspuesto tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Lekubegi Piñeiro hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. After having played for 43 minutes, Llorenc Reñe managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Piedritas's supporters crossed their fingers, but Llorenc Reñe was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Belmiro Jaurigui made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gaztea Traspalacios in the 45th minute of play. Lluques Zurbano struck a weak shot in the 48th minute. Roque Ricaredo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Abayuba. After the first half Abayuba were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Gaztea Traspalacios made a kick off. Piedritas's Roque Ricaredo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lluques Zurbano in the 52nd minute of play. Llorenc Reñe received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Belmiro Jaurigui tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Marcelo Villametide during the 55th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Lluques Zurbano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Roque Ricaredo having to interfere. The supporters of Abayuba booed when Piedritas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arnalt Garza didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Piedritas's zone, Jaen Traspuesto stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Roque Ricaredo came out of the goal and Jaen Traspuesto tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Belmiro Jaurigui tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 73 minutes in the game, Lluques Zurbano fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Roque Ricaredo having to interfere. If Lluques Zurbano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jaen Traspuesto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Abayuba's Lluques Zurbano got a good chance for a goal in the 88th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Jaen Traspuesto came up free with the goalie in the 90th minute, the Abayuba fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jaen Traspuesto couldn't finish the play. Abayuba played a much better game than Piedritas and deserved their victory. The Piedritas players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
