Inaki Urbina received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Bihar Cortazar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In a very dangerous position, a player in Quebracho FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 21st minute. Penalty! Aureliano Arango sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Aureliano Arango fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bihar Cortazar having to interfere. Salvator Antuñano was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 48th minute. Quebracho FC's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Aureliano Arango was the one to do the kick off. Bihar Cortazar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aureliano Arango, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. After 64 minutes of play, Quebracho FC's Salvator Antuñano made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Bautista Medel was left in no man's land by his defense there! Bihar Cortazar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aureliano Arango, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. 77 minutes into the game, Oxarra Indo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Tiatucura FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Quebracho FC the free kick. Oxarra Indo hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. 82 minutes into the match, Quebracho FC's goal looked a bit too open when Aureliano Arango came free, but Bihar Cortazar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Porfiro Rogel in the 89th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Bautista Medel prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 91st minute Aureliano Arango shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bihar Cortazar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Aureliano Arango's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Bihar Cortazar was relentless in the 92nd minute of the game. If Aureliano Arango had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When Inaki Urbina came up free with the goalie in the 95th minute, the Tiatucura FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Inaki Urbina couldn't finish the play. Despite being the better team, Tiatucura FC failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
