Guillelme Lance kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. Sport Capiatá were furious when Dimo Viveros was red carded, 22 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. Dimo Viveros hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. Napier Cardenas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Samuel Ventosa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Beltza Eguia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hermengildo Buyeres having to interfere. After 29 played minutes Taruman AFC got a freekick which was hit by Xano Diego. Taruman AFC's Gar Arintero got a good chance for a goal in the 36th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gar Arintero in the 42nd minute of play forced Sport Capiatá's goalkeeper Napier Cardenas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Sport Capiatá's zone, Orlan Monjo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Napier Cardenas came out of the goal and Orlan Monjo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 49th minute, Videl Corte hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Beltza Eguia stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Beltza Eguia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Beltza Eguia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Orlan Monjo hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. Beltza Eguia recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 66th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Orlan Monjo in the 72nd minute of play forced Sport Capiatá's goalkeeper Napier Cardenas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 74thth minute of the game Orlan Monjo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Sport Capiatá's Napier Cardenas was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After having played for 87 minutes, Gar Arintero managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Taruman AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gar Arintero was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Sport Capiatá's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
