Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Cleto Oyaga started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. The audience thought it was a sure goal in the 19th minute, when Sport Capiatá's Dimo Viveros after having done a great run through the defense got himself free with Hermelando Ascargorta in Nacional's goal and fired away a shot, but it missed the goal by a fraction of an inch. After having played for 28 minutes, Beltza Eguia managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sport Capiatá's supporters crossed their fingers, but Beltza Eguia was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Polentzi Carrillo kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. Napier Cardenas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cleto Oyaga, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 42nd minute, Iigo Sigüenza managed to get in a good position for a shot. Nacional's supporters rose to their feet, but Iigo Sigüenza was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Napier Cardenas breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 45th minute, Iigo Sigüenza got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Osorio Tortoles made the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the match, Sport Capiatá's goalkeeper Napier Cardenas had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Iigo Sigüenza. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cleto Oyaga in the 55th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Napier Cardenas saved Sport Capiatá from getting behind. Eguzki Canive charged in rather forcefully in the 93rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Eguzki Canive the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 93rd minute, Eguzki Canive hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Iigo Sigüenza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nacional's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
