The tension between the Montes and the Arapey players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Montes getting a freekick after 3 minutes play. Bazkoare Barbero hit a great ball. When Montes's Emilio Donis in the 6th minute got a chance for a shot 6th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Arapey's goalie prevented a goal. In the 9th minute of the match Orlando Oliver shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Gomez Alvaro showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. If Leopoldo Gorvea had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Leopoldo Gorvea received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Gomez Alvaro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 16th minute, Paz Neli hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gomez Alvaro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emilio Donis in the 23rd minute of play. Leopoldo Gorvea was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 25th minute. Montes's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Emilio Donis in the 28th minute of play forced Arapey's goalkeeper Gomez Alvaro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gomez Alvaro made a fantastic save in the 30th minute, when Leopoldo Gorvea sent off a good shot on target. In the 35th minute, Zayvion Cieza ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Chorche Camara was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. 45 minutes into the match, Montes's goal looked a bit too open when Xencio Cotillo came free, but Chorche Camara reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Zayvion Cieza received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Chorche Camara tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Emilio Donis was the one to do the kick off. In the 52nd minute Zayvion Cieza shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Chorche Camara saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 58th minute Leopoldo Gorvea shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gomez Alvaro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Montes's Bazkoare Barbero got his second yellow card of the match in the 59th minute. Gomez Alvaro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leopoldo Gorvea in the 81st minute of the match. Chorche Camara made an important save on a dangerous shot by Zayvion Cieza in the 84th minute. Leopoldo Gorvea fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gomez Alvaro having to interfere. Arnulfo Tavera struck a weak shot in the 94th minute. Gomez Alvaro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Montes. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Arapey walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
