In the 12th minute Emilio Donis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Honorato Picado saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 14 minutes of play, Montes's Leopoldo Gorvea made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Honorato Picado was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpectedly hard shot by Roland Simancas in the 19th minute of play forced Montes's goalkeeper Chorche Camara to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Came's zone, Arnulfo Tavera stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Honorato Picado came out of the goal and Arnulfo Tavera tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Leopoldo Gorvea came up free with the goalie in the 25th minute, the Montes fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Leopoldo Gorvea couldn't finish the play. Genaro Cazares sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Montes's Leopoldo Gorvea in the 33rd minute got a chance for a shot 33rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Came's goalie prevented a goal. In the 55th minute, Leopoldo Gorvea fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Emilio Donis was extremely unlucky when he, in the 56th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Genaro Cazares fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Chorche Camara having to interfere. Honorato Picado was a little too slow when Leopoldo Gorvea got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 64th minute. The score was now 0-2. Chorche Camara made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Roland Simancas in the 67th minute of play. Baumer Huemen kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. Pedro Idiaquez struck a weak shot in the 70th minute. Chorche Camara didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Came. In the 72nd minute, Arnulfo Tavera hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Roland Simancas in the 76th minute of play forced Montes's goalkeeper Chorche Camara to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Chorche Camara stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Roland Simancas's shot from short distance in the 78th minute. Through an outstanding action, after 80 minutes, Honorato Picado successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. 80 minutes into the game, Montes's Emilio Donis nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Honorato Picado made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. After having played for 84 minutes, Roland Simancas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Came's supporters crossed their fingers, but Roland Simancas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Montes's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
