In the 8th minute Quinito Melendez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lartaun Postigo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rameriz Donis's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 10thth minute, Lartaun Postigo skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Lucero Esnarriaga recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 14th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 17th minute, Vino y Guiso Fútbol Club's Rameriz Donis ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Lartaun Postigo. Lartaun Postigo yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. Coronilla's Lartaun Postigo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 21st minute of the match, managed to save Coronilla from getting a goal against them. Coronilla's Lartaun Postigo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Quinito Melendez in the 22nd minute of play. Ugutz Villegas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lucero Esnarriaga, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Rigoberto Ternero came up free with the goalie in the 27th minute, the Vino y Guiso Fútbol Club fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rigoberto Ternero couldn't finish the play. After having played for 33 minutes, Rameriz Donis managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Vino y Guiso Fútbol Club's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rameriz Donis was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Xesus Vicioso's late challenge caught a Vino y Guiso Fútbol Club's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Xesus Vicioso helped the player get up and apologised. In the 34th match minute, Coronilla was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Xesus Vicioso to maneuver through the defense. Rameriz Donis came free with the goalkeeper in the 36th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Lartaun Postigo could save by the left post. If Froylan Courel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Quinito Melendez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lartaun Postigo having to interfere. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.
Donio Roa kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lucero Esnarriaga in the 58th minute of play forced Vino y Guiso Fútbol Club's goalkeeper Ugutz Villegas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 62 played minutes Coronilla got a freekick which was hit by Leocadio Escoto. 63 minutes into the game, Quinito Melendez was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Vino y Guiso Fútbol Club's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Coronilla the free kick. When Quinito Melendez came up free with the goalie in the 68th minute, the Vino y Guiso Fútbol Club fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Quinito Melendez couldn't finish the play. The audience was convinced that Lucero Esnarriaga's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ugutz Villegas was relentless in the 72nd minute of the game. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Donio Roa during the 75th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Froylan Courel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ugutz Villegas having to interfere. 80 minutes into the match, Lucero Esnarriaga dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Ugutz Villegas, 2-2. Ongile Hilari hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. Ugutz Villegas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lucero Esnarriaga in the 86th minute of play. Lartaun Postigo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Quinito Melendez in the 88th minute of the match. When Froylan Courel came up free with the goalie in the 91st minute, the Coronilla fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Froylan Courel couldn't finish the play. After some careless play in the Coronilla defense, Rameriz Donis kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Lartaun Postigo. The Coronilla fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Lartaun Postigo should have stopped the shot. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Vino y Guiso Fútbol Club fans cheered their team off the field, for while Coronilla had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
