In the 9th minute, Lucero Esnarriaga got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The audience was convinced that Lucero Esnarriaga's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ranolfo Tapia was relentless in the 11th minute of the game. Ranolfo Tapia showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Froylan Courel, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. Ranolfo Tapia showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lucero Esnarriaga, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. In the 42nd match minute, Yacot FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aristides Puigdellivol to maneuver through the defense. Diogo Villalpando fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lartaun Postigo having to interfere. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

Coronilla's supporters rose to their feet, but Froylan Courel was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ranolfo Tapia breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Coronilla were awarded a corner in the 71th minute after Yacot FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Tebaldo Bernal took the corner. After taking down the ball on Coronilla's corner Tebaldo Bernal fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Ranolfo Tapia quite easily take care of the ball. For all the effort they put into the match, the Coronilla players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Yacot FC.
