In the 5thth minute of the game Rufio Sabuco who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Vino y Guiso Fútbol Club's Ugutz Villegas was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a rather tough play, Itapebi AFC's Chago Barrillos got a free kick in the 6th minute. Orland Izaran came out of the goal in the 8th minute to try and stop a shot by Vino y Guiso Fútbol Club's Rameriz Donis. But to his dismay, Rameriz Donis quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Ugutz Villegas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Niceto Motrico, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 22nd minute, Niceto Motrico managed to get in a good position for a shot. Itapebi AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Niceto Motrico was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ugutz Villegas breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Rameriz Donis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Quinito Melendez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Orland Izaran having to interfere. Ugutz Villegas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Niceto Motrico in the 38th minute of play. 40 minutes into the match, Itapebi AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Quinito Melendez came free, but Orland Izaran reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Itapebi AFC booed when Vino y Guiso Fútbol Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rameriz Donis didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 43rd minute, Rufio Sabuco ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ugutz Villegas was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Quinito Melendez to strike the kick off in the second half. Orland Izaran took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Quinito Melendez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ugutz Villegas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rufio Sabuco in the 58th minute of play. In the 59th minute, Rufio Sabuco ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ugutz Villegas was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-3. When the match clock showed 64 minutes, the score became 1-4 when Niceto Motrico sped through Vino y Guiso Fútbol Club's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Ugutz Villegas. In the 75th minute, Niceto Motrico left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Itapebi AFC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-5. If Rameriz Donis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rameriz Donis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Orland Izaran tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Itapebi AFC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
