Galoer Fermoso might have been able to make a better finish in the 3rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Lehior Pañizares. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Galoer Fermoso ran back to his position shaking his head. 3 minutes into the match, Quintana's goalkeeper Lehior Pañizares had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Galoer Fermoso. The supporters of Minuano AFC booed when Quintana was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ubaldo Sandin didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 7th minute the ball was on its way in behind Minuano AFC's goalkeeper Balasi Limofer, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Aurre Macua received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Lehior Pañizares tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 13th minute Iparragirre Zubiaur shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Balasi Limofer saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Minuano AFC's attack was well implemented in the 15th minute, but when Aurre Macua was about to shoot he didn't get a good hit on the ball and it hit the crossbar and flew over. Goal Kick. Balasi Limofer showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Iparragirre Zubiaur, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. Aurre Macua recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 21st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ubaldo Sandin hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. Minuano AFC's Lucian Malpica couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 24th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Quintana. After a rather tough play, Quintana's Ximeno Cotilla got a free kick in the 26th minute. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The wind increased when Aurre Macua made the kick off in the second half. Ferran Viniambres fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Balasi Limofer having to interfere. When Aurre Macua came up free with the goalie in the 62nd minute, the Minuano AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Aurre Macua couldn't finish the play. Aurre Macua blasted a shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Lehior Pañizares having to make a save. Bartoli Martinena's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Lehior Pañizares read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 72nd minute of play. Balasi Limofer made a fantastic save in the 76th minute, when Iparragirre Zubiaur sent off a good shot on target. In the 77th minute, Bartoli Martinena got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Lehior Pañizares made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aurre Macua in the 80th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Ferran Viniambres's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Balasi Limofer was relentless in the 87th minute of the game. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
