If Gutierrre Trullols had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 26 minutes into the match, Sauce's goal looked a bit too open when Gutierrre Trullols came free, but Geraldo Lucio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 29 played minutes Sauce got a freekick which was hit by Froylan Aeta. Ordeig AFC's Camilo Guipuzcoa got a good chance for a goal in the 32nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 33rd match minute, Sauce was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Froylan Aeta to maneuver through the defense. Geraldo Lucio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gutierrre Trullols, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 43rd minute, Gutierrre Trullols got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

After some careless play in the Sauce defense, Camilo Guipuzcoa kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Geraldo Lucio. The Sauce fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Geraldo Lucio should have stopped the shot. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Camilo Guipuzcoa in the 59th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Geraldo Lucio prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The supporters of Ordeig AFC booed when Sauce was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Froylan Aeta didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 63rd minute Gutierrre Trullols shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Geraldo Lucio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpected shot in the 82nd minute by Bernat Usabiaga got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. 85 minutes into the match, Sauce's goal looked a bit too open when Lucas Manojo came free, but Geraldo Lucio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Baladi Bueras charged in rather forcefully in the 95th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Baladi Bueras the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In a very dangerous position, a player in Ordeig AFC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 95th minute. Penalty! The goalkeeper, Paquito Riazos, was totally fooled by Sauce's Chorache Panguision, who 97 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. For all the effort they put into the match, the Sauce players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Ordeig AFC.
