When the match had been going on for 20 minutes, Yacot's Vicente Lamarta got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Sayvion Cañarte. When the match clock showed 24 minutes, the score became 2-1 when Isidro Betzanos sped through Acegua's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Sayvion Cañarte. Pepillo Oyarzabal scored 2-2 in the 31st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Zavior Ochavarri, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Sayvion Cañarte showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joel Iranzo, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. In the 37th minute, Acegua's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Isidro Betzanos fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Joel Iranzo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sayvion Cañarte having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Yacot's zone, Pepillo Oyarzabal stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Zavior Ochavarri came out of the goal and Pepillo Oyarzabal tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Todor Landaburu stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute, Herensuge Olave hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Joel Iranzo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Sayvion Cañarte tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Acegua's supporters crossed their fingers, but Todor Landaburu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 64th minute Joel Iranzo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sayvion Cañarte saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 68 minutes into the match, Yacot's goalkeeper Zavior Ochavarri had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Pepillo Oyarzabal. In the 75th minute Joel Iranzo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sayvion Cañarte saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
