Cesar Salvia showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Todor Landaburu in the 5th minute of the match. Lizer Leniz's late challenge caught a Carqueja's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Lizer Leniz helped the player get up and apologised. In the 10th minute, one of Acegua:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Acegua. The referee gave Carqueja a penalty, 12 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Agostinho Campoo, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Acegua's Sayvion Cañarte. 0-1. Inautzi Jares struck a weak shot in the 15th minute. Sayvion Cañarte didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Carqueja. 18 minutes into the match, Todor Landaburu dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Cesar Salvia, 1-1. In the 22nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Acegua's goalkeeper Sayvion Cañarte, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Pepillo Oyarzabal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Acegua booed when Carqueja was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Erramun Abendano didn't get a good kick on the ball. Munio Zamorano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sayvion Cañarte having to interfere. Pepillo Oyarzabal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Cesar Salvia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Pepillo Oyarzabal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 44 minutes Carqueja's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Lekubegi Pozo who took care of the corner kick. The corner ended in Lekubegi Pozo almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Carqueja's Cesar Salvia did a great save. Cesar Salvia came out of the goal in the 45th minute to try and stop a shot by Acegua's Pepillo Oyarzabal. But to his dismay, Pepillo Oyarzabal quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Todor Landaburu stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Todor Landaburu in the 52nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Cesar Salvia prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Todor Landaburu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Cesar Salvia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cesar Salvia showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Todor Landaburu, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. Cesar Salvia showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pepillo Oyarzabal in the 61st minute of the match. Inautzi Jares scored 2-2 in the 64th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Sayvion Cañarte, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Cesar Salvia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pepillo Oyarzabal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 78 minutes into the match, Acegua's goalkeeper Sayvion Cañarte had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Inautzi Jares. In the 82nd minute Munio Zamorano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sayvion Cañarte saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Pepillo Oyarzabal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cesar Salvia having to interfere. Erramun Abendano charged in rather forcefully in the 89th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Erramun Abendano the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 90th minute, Erramun Abendano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
