Rigoberto Folgueras made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. Rigoberto Folgueras came out of the goal and Saturnino Lluba tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 75th minute, Saturnino Lluba got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Tiso Salces had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 85th minute Saturnino Lluba shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rigoberto Folgueras saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Castillo's zone, Arsenio Yanez stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Paquito Clavell came out of the goal and Arsenio Yanez tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Saturnino Lluba fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rigoberto Folgueras having to interfere. For all the effort they put into the match, the Amigos de Julito players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Castillo.
