Spectators: 6697 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1697, VIP seats: 0) Cristian Larquera started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Cristian Larquera recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 21st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 22nd match minute, Averias was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mederi Palacio to maneuver through the defense. Teo Arieta fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Raymond Miñaca having to interfere. Raymond Miñaca made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Teo Arieta in the 31st minute of play. After 34 played minutes Loren Cladera rounded Montes FC's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Larquera in the 38th minute of play forced Averias's goalkeeper Raymond Miñaca to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 43rd minute, Loren Cladera got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After having played for 45 minutes, Montxo Esteve managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Averias's supporters crossed their fingers, but Montxo Esteve was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Loren Cladera to make the kick off. If Ekhi Valdes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Teo Arieta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 56th match minute, Averias was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Montxo Esteve to maneuver through the defense. 68 minutes into the match, Averias's goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Larquera came free, but Raymond Miñaca reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ihazintu Chicoime's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Franko Maruca read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 71st minute of play. After having played for 80 minutes, Ihazintu Chicoime managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Averias's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ihazintu Chicoime was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Loren Cladera sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 91st minute Ihazintu Chicoime shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Franko Maruca saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lucio Cervantez hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. The referee felt a red card was in order, 96 minutes into the game, when Asur Planes put in a rough tackle. In the 96th minute, one of Montes FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Montes FC. Lorenz Espinoso walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. For all the effort they put into the match, the Montes FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Averias.
