Spectators: 6707 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1707, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Ramirez Guais got the match started through his kick off. After a rather tough play, Sauce FC's Blasi Pardelas got a free kick in the 3rd minute. In the 5th minute Filipe Laserna shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hernando Celis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hernando Celis came out of the goal in the 7th minute to try and stop a shot by Santiago's Malvin Camba. But to his dismay, Malvin Camba quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Isauro Lobado sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Sauce FC's Camerino Mañueco got a free kick in the 15th minute. Blasi Pardelas's late challenge caught a Santiago's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Blasi Pardelas helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Sauce FC getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Blasi Pardelas hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Sauce FC's zone, Malvin Camba stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hernando Celis came out of the goal and Malvin Camba tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Hernando Celis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Malvin Camba, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 23 minutes into the match, Sauce FC's Ramirez Guais sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Artemio Capdevila narrowly saved just below the crossbar. A collision led to Sauce FC getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Blasi Pardelas hit a great ball. Malvin Camba received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Hernando Celis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Hernando Celis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Guillelmo Castañiza, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Filipe Laserna in the 32nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Hernando Celis saved Sauce FC from getting behind. 36 minutes into the match, Sauce FC's goal looked a bit too open when Malvin Camba came free, but Hernando Celis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 39 minutes into the match, Isauro Lobado notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Santiago's Artemio Capdevila. Artemio Capdevila was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. If Isauro Lobado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ramirez Guais in the 44th minute of play forced Santiago's goalkeeper Artemio Capdevila to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Montrelle Mariategui's late challenge caught a Sauce FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Montrelle Mariategui helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Santiago getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Montrelle Mariategui hit a great ball. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Malvin Camba stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Isauro Lobado recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 54th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 58 minutes, Ederono Urrea mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Santiago and the Sauce FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In a very dangerous position, a player in Santiago fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 58th minute. Penalty! In the 62nd match minute, Sauce FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Felo Luan to maneuver through the defense. Hernando Celis made a fantastic save in the 66th minute, when Filipe Laserna sent off a good shot on target. Romulo Montesino charged in rather forcefully in the 67th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Romulo Montesino the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. With his leg Hernando Celis managed to avoid a goal in the 70thth minute, when Santiago's Filipe Laserna fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Hernando Celis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Malvin Camba, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. Camerino Mañueco kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. With a little luck, Sauce FC's Hernando Celis got control of the ball when Filipe Laserna tried to sneak it across the goal line. 77 minutes into the game, Isauro Lobado was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Sauce FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Santiago the free kick. In the 77th match minute, Sauce FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Isauro Lobado to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 80 minutes, Filipe Laserna managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Santiago's supporters crossed their fingers, but Filipe Laserna was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Malvin Camba had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Blasi Pardelas hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Sauce FC's zone, Malvin Camba stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hernando Celis came out of the goal and Malvin Camba tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Filipe Laserna sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
