Cruz Lisarra came out of the goal and Lawrence Mugica tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After having played for 17 minutes, Lawrence Mugica managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Conchillas FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lawrence Mugica was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Cruz Lisarra showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lawrence Mugica, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. In the 22nd minute, Jerico Cadelo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 25 minutes into the match, Conchillas FC's goal looked a bit too open when Jon Aguilar came free, but Roque Benavidez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 28 minutes into the game, Saverio Cisneros was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Conchillas FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Orgoroso AFC the free kick. The supporters of Orgoroso AFC booed when Conchillas FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Saverio Cisneros didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lawrence Mugica in the 32nd minute of play forced Orgoroso AFC's goalkeeper Cruz Lisarra to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Franco Urdialess short, quick shot in the 38thth minute got Cruz Lisarra to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Conchillas FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Duarte Lucas in the 44th minute. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Lawrence Mugica was the one to do the kick off. Cruz Lisarra showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Franco Urdiales, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. When Franco Urdiales came up free with the goalie in the 62nd minute, the Conchillas FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Franco Urdiales couldn't finish the play. Cruz Lisarra showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Franco Urdiales in the 69th minute of the match. After 72 minutes of play, Conchillas FC's Jerico Cadelo made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Cruz Lisarra was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 74th minute, one of Conchillas FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Conchillas FC. The referee gave Orgoroso AFC a penalty, 77 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Justo Valencia, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Conchillas FC's Roque Benavidez. 1-2. 83 minutes into the game, Lawrence Mugica was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player.
