After a defensive mix-up in Migues's zone, Jorrin Barcia stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Leonel Carrete came out of the goal and Jorrin Barcia tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Cufre's Jorrin Barcia got a good chance for a goal in the 21st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Migues's Leonel Carrete played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jorrin Barcia in the 34th minute of play. Cufre's Severino Guiles got a good chance for a goal in the 35th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Migues's Castulo Tejo got a free kick in the 36th minute. Ticho Sarasua sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Cufre getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Vinicio Fontiveros hit a great ball. Andrew Ruicerezo struck a weak shot in the 44th minute. Juango Llago didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Migues. The supporters of Cufre booed when Migues was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Andrew Ruicerezo didn't get a good kick on the ball. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jorrin Barcia was the one to do the kick off. Severino Guiles fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leonel Carrete having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Jorrin Barcia kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Leonel Carrete. That made the score 0-1 in the 60 minute of play. Andrew Ruicerezo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Juango Llago read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 64th minute of play. If Jorrin Barcia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 70 minutes into the game, one of Migues:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The goalkeeper, Leonel Carrete, was totally fooled by Cufre's Zunbeltz Garces, who 72 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. 76 minutes into the match, Severino Guiles had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Leonel Carrete. Migues's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Severino Guiles was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. In the 80th minute Andrew Ruicerezo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Juango Llago saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
