Palma's Dalmacio Lombana suffered a sore thigh after 10 minutes and couldn't finish the game. When Cuartio Turres fell near the penalty area in the 10th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Coion's protests and gave Cuartio Turres a yellow card for diving instead. After 10 played minutes Coion got a freekick which was hit by Cuartio Turres. If Leoncio Alcega had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Coion's Cuartio Turres got a free kick in the 25th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kemen Herrezuelo in the 29th minute of play forced Palma's goalkeeper Txanton Milla to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Emilio Zamora's late challenge caught a Coion's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Emilio Zamora helped the player get up and apologised. In the 31st minute, Emilio Zamora hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Errando Renta fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Txanton Milla having to interfere. Palma's Leoncio Alcega got a good chance for a goal in the 36th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of Coion booed when Palma was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Domiku Carbajo didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 47th minute, Antonio Obieso hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The wind increased when Leoncio Alcega made the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Palma getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Jacobo Arras hit a great ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Errando Renta got free with Txanton Milla in the 57th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Domiku Carbajo in the 65th minute of play forced Coion's goalkeeper Xurxo Ciscal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jacobo Arras sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Txanton Milla made a fantastic save in the 76th minute, when Errando Renta sent off a good shot on target. 79 minutes into the match, Palma's goalkeeper Txanton Milla had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Errando Renta. After some fancy dribbling in the 85th minute, Leoncio Alcega managed to get in a good position for a shot. Palma's supporters rose to their feet, but Leoncio Alcega was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Xurxo Ciscal breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 88 played minutes Palma got a freekick which was hit by Domiku Carbajo. Errando Renta fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Txanton Milla having to interfere. The Palma supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Coion's performance. The match ended with a win for Coion.
