After 6 played minutes Curtina got a freekick which was hit by Lucas Davila. 7 minutes into the match, Ituzaingo AFC's Galoer Pandilla broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. In the 9th minute, Eduino Hortigosa ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Socorro Alzola was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. 12 minutes into the match, Curtina's goal looked a bit too open when Eduino Hortigosa came free, but Socorro Alzola reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Mikelats Remolino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 22 minutes into the match, Ituzaingo AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Seme Valdevielso came free, but Felix Balanza reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mikelats Remolino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 31 minutes into the match, Eduino Hortigosa notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Curtina's Socorro Alzola. Socorro Alzola was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Mikelats Remolino's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 35thth minute, Felix Balanza skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Eduino Hortigosa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 40 minutes into the match, Curtina's goal looked a bit too open when Zorion Zaldierna came free, but Socorro Alzola reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eduino Hortigosa in the 45th minute of play forced Curtina's goalkeeper Socorro Alzola to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

The wind increased when Seme Valdevielso made the kick off in the second half. Ituzaingo AFC's Orlan Limon got a good chance for a goal in the 57th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Orkatz Oporto hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. 63 minutes into the game, Eduino Hortigosa cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-3. Socorro Alzola was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Zorion Zaldierna received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Socorro Alzola tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Ituzaingo AFC booed when Curtina was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jobo Azurmendi didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Zorion Zaldierna had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Socorro Alzola made a fantastic save in the 75th minute, when Eduino Hortigosa sent off a good shot on target. Felix Balanza showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mikelats Remolino in the 76th minute of the match. Zorion Zaldierna might have been able to make a better finish in the 79th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Socorro Alzola. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Zorion Zaldierna ran back to his position shaking his head. Socorro Alzola made a fantastic save in the 85th minute, when Eduino Hortigosa sent off a good shot on target. Seme Valdevielso struck a weak shot in the 86th minute. Felix Balanza didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Curtina. Eduino Hortigosa could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 90th minute of the match, but Socorro Alzola made a huge save. Ituzaingo AFC's Zorion Zaldierna got a good chance for a goal in the 93rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ituzaingo AFC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
