Isusko Palermo yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. After 12 played minutes Pinera got a freekick which was hit by Karmel Nafarrate. Iigo Gamiz took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 13th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Roberto Rivet. Pinera's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. If Lluis Ramin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience was convinced that Lluis Ramin's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Roberto Rivet was relentless in the 17th minute of the game. Isusko Palermo made a fantastic save in the 24th minute, when Dario Arzalaga sent off a good shot on target. Isusko Palermo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dario Arzalaga, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Roberto Rivet stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Lluis Ramin's shot from short distance in the 34th minute. Isusko Palermo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Dario Arzalaga went, in the 37th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Pau Carreira to strike the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Candil FC getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Miro Mensa hit a great ball. After 59 played minutes Candil FC got a freekick which was hit by Jaunzuria Chavarre. In the 67th minute, Maurin Cerezo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jaunzuria Chavarre might have been able to make a better finish in the 68th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Roberto Rivet. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jaunzuria Chavarre ran back to his position shaking his head. After having played for 70 minutes, Dario Arzalaga managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Pinera's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dario Arzalaga was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 71st minute, Pau Carreira got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Roberto Rivet was a little too slow when Jaunzuria Chavarre got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 75th minute. The score was now 3-1. In the 80th minute, Mauricio Eijo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 82 minutes into the match, Candil FC's goal looked a bit too open when Pau Carreira came free, but Isusko Palermo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dario Arzalaga sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Candil FC getting a freekick after 87 minutes play. Mauricio Eijo hit a great ball. A hard shot 90 in the game by Jaunzuria Chavarre from a close distance when the talented Roberto Rivet managed to make a qualified save. Pinera's players were relieved. For all the effort they put into the match, the Candil FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Pinera.
