Leonides Carrero showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gumaro Ochagavia in the 11th minute of the match. Galindo Ibero made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Totakoxe Lluba in the 18th minute of play. Galindo Ibero showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Totakoxe Lluba, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. Herena Durante who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 25thth minute tested the skills of Galindo Ibero when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After a defensive mix-up in Arevalo's zone, Gumaro Ochagavia stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Leonides Carrero came out of the goal and Gumaro Ochagavia tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 39 minutes into the match, Platero's goal looked a bit too open when Totakoxe Lluba came free, but Galindo Ibero reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Totakoxe Lluba sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee felt a red card was in order, 43 minutes into the game, when Rumaldo Acevedo put in a rough tackle. Teofilo Chavarria shot the penalty kick right outside the post. The supporters of Arevalo booed when Platero was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Demesio Quiros didn't get a good kick on the ball. Herena Durante recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 60th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 62 minutes of play, Arevalo's Herena Durante made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Galindo Ibero was left in no man's land by his defense there! Gumaro Ochagavia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Platero's Martxel Gonta got a free kick in the 69th minute. Galindo Ibero showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Totakoxe Lluba in the 70th minute of the match. Gumaro Ochagavia could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 75th minute of the match, but Leonides Carrero made a huge save. Teofilo Chavarria was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 79th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Totakoxe Lluba received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Galindo Ibero tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Galindo Ibero didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Arevalo. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Totakoxe Lluba received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Gumaro Ochagavia in the 96thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Leonides Carrero, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Arevalo fans cheered their team off the field, for while Platero had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
