In the 3rd minute Peli Villanueva shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pepe Barreto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Pepe Barreto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Peli Villanueva in the 8th minute of play. Guillermo Jove sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Motörhead's Prudentio Hermosilla quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Evis Vaquero, made in the 13th minute of the game. If Prudentio Hermosilla had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, Soriano's Pabla Urtaza got control of the ball when Prudentio Hermosilla tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 27 played minutes Soriano got a freekick which was hit by Obano Parayos. Astor Fariña kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. When Tiso Casiano fell near the penalty area in the 30th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Soriano's protests and gave Tiso Casiano a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Soriano getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Tiso Casiano hit a great ball. Obano Parayos charged in rather forcefully in the 34th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Obano Parayos the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Vels Alia struck a weak shot in the 38th minute. Pabla Urtaza didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Motörhead. Prudentio Hermosilla fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pabla Urtaza having to interfere. After 44 played minutes Motörhead got a freekick which was hit by Bartoleme Armenta. Pepe Barreto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Peli Villanueva in the 47th minute of the match. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Tiso Casiano to strike the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in Soriano's zone, Vels Alia stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Pabla Urtaza came out of the goal and Vels Alia tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Pepe Barreto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tiso Casiano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 67th match minute, Motörhead was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Camilo Jakue to maneuver through the defense. After 70 played minutes Soriano got a freekick which was hit by Rencio Arona. Vels Alia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Pabla Urtaza tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Camilo Jakue hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. In the 83rd minute, Camilo Vizcarreto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Prudentio Hermosilla fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pabla Urtaza having to interfere. Obano Parayos was shown his second yellow card after 90 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. In the 93rd minute, Peli Villanueva got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Soriano were delighted with the way they had won the match. They had held their defensive line well and made the most of their chances, to claim a victory over Motörhead's much stronger midfield.
