In the 59th minute, Salvador Arecha got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 60 played minutes Godoy got a freekick which was hit by Mannie Viñales. 72 minutes into the match, Godoy's goalkeeper Licerio Dalaje had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Xuan Villayuste. Paquito Carbajal might have been able to make a better finish in the 74th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Phelipe Verlo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Paquito Carbajal ran back to his position shaking his head. Salvador Arecha fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Licerio Dalaje having to interfere. Godoy's supporters crossed their fingers, but Paquito Carbajal was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 97 minutes into the match, Solis's goal looked a bit too open when Paquito Carbajal came free, but Phelipe Verlo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. For all the effort they put into the match, the Solis players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Godoy.
