Seating: 1697, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Salomone Mencia took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 6th minute Salomone Mencia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Licerio Dalaje saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lauaxeta Aizaran struck a weak shot in the 8th minute. Licerio Dalaje didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Colonia FC. 9 minutes into the match, Godoy's goal looked a bit too open when Salomone Mencia came free, but Licerio Dalaje reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lauaxeta Aizaran received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Licerio Dalaje tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Godoy's Licerio Dalaje played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lauaxeta Aizaran in the 17th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 21st minute, Salomone Mencia managed to get in a good position for a shot. Colonia FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Salomone Mencia was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Licerio Dalaje breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 33 played minutes Godoy got a freekick which was hit by Marco Azcona. Lauaxeta Aizaran sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Paquito Carbajal in the 37th minute of play forced Colonia FC's goalkeeper Ysmael Juez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lauaxeta Aizaran charged in rather forcefully in the 38th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Lauaxeta Aizaran the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Lauaxeta Aizaran kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. Salomone Mencia recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 41st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of Godoy booed when Colonia FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Galoer Manzardo didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Paquito Carbajal to make the kick off. Santxol Moreta charged in rather forcefully in the 54th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Santxol Moreta the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The referee gave Godoy a penalty, 55 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Innocenzio Soraiz, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Colonia FC's Ysmael Juez. 1-0. Santxol Moreta was shown his second yellow card after 67 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. In the 66th minute, one of Colonia FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Colonia FC. Innocenzio Soraiz walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. Ysmael Juez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Angelino Horreo in the 75th minute of play. In the 76th minute, Lauaxeta Aizaran ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Licerio Dalaje was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. Ysmael Juez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Paquito Carbajal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Paquito Carbajal struck a weak shot in the 88th minute. Ysmael Juez didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Godoy. The supporters of Colonia FC booed when Godoy was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 97 match minutes in a wonderful position. Armando Estela didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 97th minute, Urbez Corullon sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Godoy's Licerio Dalaje didn't even have to move. Lauaxeta Aizaran in the 101stth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Licerio Dalaje, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Colonia FC's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Godoy had won, even though Colonia FC had held more of the ball.
