Spectators: 6709 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1709, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ugutz Villaseca couldn't finish the play. The audience was convinced that Cilio Pravia's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Teodoro Coello was relentless in the 6th minute of the game. After 9 minutes of play, Montes AFC's Ugutz Villaseca made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Teodoro Coello was left in no man's land by his defense there! Gelacio Graniela received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Primo Berrez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Orlando Ibias's late challenge caught a Minas AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Teodoro Coello stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cilio Pravia's shot from short distance in the 27th minute. Cilio Pravia recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 30th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Teodoro Coello showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cilio Pravia in the 32nd minute of the match.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gelacio Graniela to make the kick off. A collision led to Minas AFC getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Isias Ibarra hit a great ball. In the 54th minute, Ezkerra Ermua sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Minas AFC's Teodoro Coello didn't even have to move. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gelacio Graniela in the 63rd minute of play forced Montes AFC's goalkeeper Primo Berrez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Montes AFC's Cilio Pravia in the 66th minute got a chance for a shot 66th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Minas AFC's goalie prevented a goal. When Iban Lumbreras came up free with the goalie in the 67th minute, the Minas AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Iban Lumbreras couldn't finish the play. 70 minutes into the game, Cilio Pravia recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Teodoro Coello. Cilio Pravia showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-3. Cilio Pravia's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Teodoro Coello read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 76th minute of play. After 78 played minutes Minas AFC got a freekick which was hit by Libertad Bolilla. After 79 played minutes, Montes AFC's Ezkerra Ermua shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Teodoro Coello came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Montes AFC reached it. Minas AFC's Gelacio Graniela got a good chance for a goal in the 83rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Blasco Llama kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. 86 minutes into the match, Minas AFC's Ubarna Pino broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. After a rather tough play, Montes AFC's Elorri Carballal got a free kick in the 87th minute. When Ugutz Villaseca fell near the penalty area in the 88th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Montes AFC's protests and gave Ugutz Villaseca a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Minas AFC booed when Montes AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ugutz Villaseca didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 89 minutes of play, Minas AFC's Iban Lumbreras made it 1-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Primo Berrez was left in no man's land by his defense there! 94 minutes into the match, Minas AFC's Iban Lumbreras sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Primo Berrez narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Gelacio Graniela hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. The Montes AFC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Montes AFC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
