Gomesano Periquet struck a weak shot in the 27th minute. Llorenc Piñon didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for San Carlos. After having played for 35 minutes, Medero Pacheco managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Capurro's supporters crossed their fingers, but Medero Pacheco was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 37 played minutes San Carlos got a freekick which was hit by Dagoberto Selgas. When the match had gone on for 40 minutes, Medero Pacheco took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Tohias Antequera to make any attempt to save it. Tohias Antequera made a fantastic save in the 45th minute, when Txartiko Turienzo sent off a good shot on target. Txartiko Turienzo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tohias Antequera having to interfere. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Medero Pacheco made a kick off. Bizen Magaña received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Llorenc Piñon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 58th minute, Txartiko Turienzo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Capurro's supporters rose to their feet, but Txartiko Turienzo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tohias Antequera breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 61st match minute, San Carlos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dagoberto Selgas to maneuver through the defense.
