Through an outstanding action, after 9 minutes, Angel Valladares successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. 15 minutes into the match, Aguila's goal looked a bit too open when Olentzaro Tubia came free, but Angel Valladares reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Aguila's Gian-Carlo Teijeiro got a good chance for a goal in the 21st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Chale Rucabado stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Alberino Canellas's shot from short distance in the 26th minute. After 28 minutes of play, Aguila's Gian-Carlo Teijeiro made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Chale Rucabado was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a defensive mix-up in Aguila's zone, Olentzaro Tubia stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Angel Valladares came out of the goal and Olentzaro Tubia tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Garoa Ormaechea came up free with the goalie in the 35th minute, the Cerrezuelo FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Garoa Ormaechea couldn't finish the play. Chale Rucabado showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alberino Canellas in the 38th minute of the match. After 39 played minutes Cerrezuelo FC got a freekick which was hit by Nalo Oropeza. After 41 played minutes Cerrezuelo FC got a freekick which was hit by Ekialde Peso. Chale Rucabado took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alberino Canellas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 46th minute, Santos Garaizabal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gian-Carlo Teijeiro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 50th minute. Chale Rucabado tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gian-Carlo Teijeiro to make the kick off. When Garoa Ormaechea came up free with the goalie in the 57th minute, the Cerrezuelo FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Garoa Ormaechea couldn't finish the play. In the 58th minute Olentzaro Tubia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Angel Valladares saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alberino Canellass short, quick shot in the 60thth minute got Chale Rucabado to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Alberino Canellas came free with the goalkeeper in the 62nd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Chale Rucabado could save by the left post. In the 65th match minute, Cerrezuelo FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nalo Oropeza to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Olentzaro Tubia in the 71st minute of play forced Aguila's goalkeeper Angel Valladares to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alberino Canellas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Chale Rucabado tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Angel Valladares showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Garoa Ormaechea, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. In the 86th match minute, Aguila was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jaunzuria Carasa to maneuver through the defense. In the 96th minute, Gian-Carlo Teijeiro reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Chale Rucabado. The goal made the score 0-3. The Cerrezuelo FC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Aguila's performance. The match ended with a win for Aguila.
