Spectators: 6710 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1710, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Aztore Algarte made the kick off which started today's match. 3 minutes into the match, Lopez Lama notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Merinos FC's Birila Avecilla. Birila Avecilla was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The supporters of Merinos FC booed when Valdense AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Natal Hesles didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sansone Velo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Birila Avecilla read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 12th minute of play. 15 minutes into the match, Calisto Larabiedra dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Fabio Tresgallo, 1-1. Americo Cuello in the 20thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Fabio Tresgallo, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Fabio Tresgallo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aztore Algarte in the 23rd minute of play. Aztore Algarte fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fabio Tresgallo having to interfere. If Aztore Algarte had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 32 minutes into the match, Calisto Larabiedra notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Valdense AFC's Fabio Tresgallo. Fabio Tresgallo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Calisto Larabiedra hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Merinos FC's zone, Lopez Lama stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Birila Avecilla came out of the goal and Lopez Lama tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 45th minute Calisto Larabiedra shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fabio Tresgallo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 47th minute, Americo Cuello managed to get in a good position for a shot. Merinos FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Americo Cuello was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fabio Tresgallo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Lopez Lama made a kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Americo Cuello in the 53rd minute of play forced Valdense AFC's goalkeeper Fabio Tresgallo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 54 minutes, Arano Reinoso mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Valdense AFC and the Merinos FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Arano Reinoso kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. Merinos FC's Americo Cuello got a good chance for a goal in the 56th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Birila Avecilla showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lopez Lama in the 67th minute of the match. In the 72nd minute Aztore Algarte shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fabio Tresgallo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Aztore Algarte received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Fabio Tresgallo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 79th minute, Jobo Benedid hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Merinos FC's Birila Avecilla played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lopez Lama in the 88th minute of play. In the 89th match minute, Merinos FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leonel Garzona to maneuver through the defense. Tadeu Fontoria recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 90th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.
