Jose Manes could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 13th minute of the match, but Gerazan Larios made a huge save. Waldir Feliu came out of the goal in the 16th minute to try and stop a shot by Goni FC's Neto Pizarro. But to his dismay, Neto Pizarro quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. In the 30th minute, Supernova F.C's Toli Espinar ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Gerazan Larios. Gerazan Larios yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-1. 37 minutes into the match, Neto Pizarro notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Supernova F.C's Waldir Feliu. Waldir Feliu was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 42nd minute, Toli Espinar got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Waldir Feliu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Udalaitz Huerga in the 45th minute of the match. 48 minutes into the game, one of Goni FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The goalkeeper, Gerazan Larios, was totally fooled by Supernova F.C's Francho Marigorta, who 49 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. The score stood at 2-2 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Toli Espinar to strike the kick off in the second half. After 58 minutes, Cris Muñiz mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Goni FC and the Supernova F.C players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 65th minute Jose Manes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gerazan Larios saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 70 minutes, Jose Manes managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Supernova F.C's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jose Manes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Waldir Feliu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Neto Pizarro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Neto Pizarro in the 74th minute of play forced Supernova F.C's goalkeeper Waldir Feliu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 77 minutes of play, Goni FC's Neto Pizarro made it 2-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Waldir Feliu was left in no man's land by his defense there! Goni FC's Neto Pizarro got a good chance for a goal in the 80th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Jose Manes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 87th minute, Neto Pizarro got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Udalaitz Huerga had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
