Spectators: 6725 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1725, VIP seats: 0) Goni FC's Udalaitz Huerga started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Elequemedo Busquet showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dalmacio Cantera in the 4th minute of the match. Palmitas AFC's Hanot Lorenzana got a good chance for a goal in the 6th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Udalaitz Huerga had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ekaitz Mella recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 12th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 16 minutes, Castel Rubi mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Palmitas AFC and the Goni FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 16th minute, Castel Rubi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Zenon Aceves fell near the penalty area in the 18th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Palmitas AFC's protests and gave Zenon Aceves a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Palmitas AFC getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Zenon Aceves hit a great ball. In the 19th minute, Eleder Caunedo sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Palmitas AFC's Elequemedo Busquet didn't even have to move. When Eusko Tezano fell near the penalty area in the 20th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Palmitas AFC's protests and gave Eusko Tezano a yellow card for diving instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Udalaitz Huerga in the 23rd minute of play forced Palmitas AFC's goalkeeper Elequemedo Busquet to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dalmacio Cantera received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Elequemedo Busquet tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Udalaitz Huerga sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 30th minute Dalmacio Cantera shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Elequemedo Busquet saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Transito Serna sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 36 minutes into the match, Goni FC's goal looked a bit too open when Transito Serna came free, but Gerazan Larios reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dalmacio Cantera received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Elequemedo Busquet tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Udalaitz Huerga in the 43rd minute of play forced Palmitas AFC's goalkeeper Elequemedo Busquet to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Dalmacio Cantera fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Elequemedo Busquet having to interfere. Dalmacio Cantera struck a weak shot in the 56th minute. Elequemedo Busquet didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Goni FC. When Udalaitz Huerga came up free with the goalie in the 59th minute, the Goni FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Udalaitz Huerga couldn't finish the play. Palmitas AFC's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Udalaitz Huerga 60 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 0-1. Cris Muñiz struck a weak shot in the 64th minute. Elequemedo Busquet didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Goni FC. Elequemedo Busquet acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 77th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Eleder Caunedo. Transito Serna received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Gerazan Larios tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Transito Serna fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 99th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gerazan Larios having to interfere. Goni FC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
