The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Quintin Jalon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Cordareo Mendigoitia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Enzo Lagunez in the 11th minute of play forced Bolivar's goalkeeper Bahiano Brieba to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Duraznito FC booed when Bolivar was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gillermo Paez didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cordareo Mendigoitia made an important save on a dangerous shot by Quintin Jalon in the 14th minute. Jerardo España could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 19th minute of the match, but Cordareo Mendigoitia made a huge save. Quintin Jalon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tiniebra Freiria charged in rather forcefully in the 21st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Tiniebra Freiria the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 21st match minute, Duraznito FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tiniebra Freiria to maneuver through the defense. Bahiano Brieba showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Iigo Carrios in the 28th minute of the match. Quintin Jalon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Oinaz Niño fell near the penalty area in the 40th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Bolivar's protests and gave Oinaz Niño a yellow card for diving instead. After 40 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Bolivar! The referee gave Duraznito FC a penalty, 41 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Meder Cardillo, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Bolivar's Bahiano Brieba. 0-1. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

Cordareo Mendigoitia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jerardo España in the 52nd minute of play. Cordareo Mendigoitia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jerardo España, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Quintin Jalon kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. In the 57th match minute, Duraznito FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tiniebra Freiria to maneuver through the defense. Claudinei Losado's late challenge caught a Duraznito FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Claudinei Losado helped the player get up and apologised. Meder Cardillo shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. Enzo Lagunez's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Bahiano Brieba read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 85th minute of play. In the 86th minute the ball was on its way in behind Bolivar's goalkeeper Bahiano Brieba, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Enzo Lagunez recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 89th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 93 minutes into the match, Duraznito FC's goal looked a bit too open when Quintin Jalon came free, but Cordareo Mendigoitia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Quintin Jalon in the 95th minute of play forced Duraznito FC's goalkeeper Cordareo Mendigoitia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 95th minute, Nevada Quijana hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cordareo Mendigoitia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jerardo España, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
