Wanderers FC's Zenaido Urtueta played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Obano Jusino in the 30th minute of play. Felipillo Griego struck a weak shot in the 31st minute. Zenaido Urtueta didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Vila. Obano Jusino recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 34th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Obano Jusino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Obano Jusino to strike the kick off in the second half. Felipillo Griego's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Zenaido Urtueta read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 53rd minute of play. In the 59thth minute of the game Felipillo Griego who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Wanderers FC's Zenaido Urtueta was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a rather tough play, Vila's Angelo Parcero got a free kick in the 61st minute. Zenaido Urtueta stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Felipillo Griego's shot from short distance in the 68th minute. In the 73rd minute Felipillo Griego shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zenaido Urtueta saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 82 minutes into the game, Haimar Cofresi was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Wanderers FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Vila the free kick. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 82nd minute of the game. One of Wanderers FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Vila:s goal. Clawirton Alcala shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar.
