Zenaido Urtueta showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Quintin Jalon, who was totally free with the ball in the 3rd minute. After 4 played minutes Wanderers FC got a freekick which was hit by Batista Pro. A collision led to Bolivar getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Sandalio Bernabe hit a great ball. Zenaido Urtueta showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Quintin Jalon in the 11th minute of the match. 13 minutes into the game, Jerardo España cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Zenaido Urtueta was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 17 minutes into the match, Wanderers FC's goalkeeper Zenaido Urtueta had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jerardo España. 19 minutes into the game, Jerardo España cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Zenaido Urtueta was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Bolivar's Jerardo España got a good chance for a goal in the 22nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Jerardo España's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 27thth minute, Zenaido Urtueta skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. With his leg Zenaido Urtueta managed to avoid a goal in the 34thth minute, when Bolivar's Jerardo España fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After 37 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Wanderers FC! In the 41st minute of the match, Quintin Jalon tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Zenaido Urtueta saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

The wind increased when Quintin Jalon made the kick off in the second half. Batista Pro charged in rather forcefully in the 54th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Batista Pro the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 54th match minute, Wanderers FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Batista Pro to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Wanderers FC's zone, Jerardo España stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Zenaido Urtueta came out of the goal and Jerardo España tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Quintin Jalon in the 61st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Zenaido Urtueta prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Jerardo España hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. 64 minutes into the match, Wanderers FC's goal looked a bit too open when Jerardo España came free, but Zenaido Urtueta reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jerardo España's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Zenaido Urtueta read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 69th minute of play. Zenaido Urtueta came out of the goal in the 73rd minute to try and stop a shot by Bolivar's Quintin Jalon. But to his dismay, Quintin Jalon quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. 79 minutes into the game, Bolivar's Jerardo España nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Zenaido Urtueta made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-0. Zenaido Urtueta showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Quintin Jalon in the 85th minute of the match. If Batista Pro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Nevada Quijana fell near the penalty area in the 88th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Bolivar's protests and gave Nevada Quijana a yellow card for diving instead. Nevada Quijana hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. Zenaido Urtueta made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Quintin Jalon in the 97th minute of play. For all the effort they put into the match, the Wanderers FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Bolivar.
