Raphael Velilla received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Quirze Texidor tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 8th minute, Raphael Velilla managed to get in a good position for a shot. La Concha Futbol Club's supporters rose to their feet, but Raphael Velilla was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Quirze Texidor breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Roi Fortuño struck a weak shot in the 9th minute. Edwardo Morlote didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ceferino FC. If Xines Lario had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 20 minutes, Iago Mercadillo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ceferino FC and the La Concha Futbol Club players grew even worse after the yellow card. Alonzo Maleta took the ball and in the 27 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Edwardo Morlote. Edwardo Morlote dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. After having played for 37 minutes, Xines Lario managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. La Concha Futbol Club's supporters crossed their fingers, but Xines Lario was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Alonzo Maleta recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 41st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Edgard Andonegui came up free with the goalie in the 45th minute, the La Concha Futbol Club fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Edgard Andonegui couldn't finish the play. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

58 minutes into the match, La Concha Futbol Club's goal looked a bit too open when Alonzo Maleta came free, but Edwardo Morlote reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
