Platon AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Hondo Reigadas was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Quinto Godan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vachon Langarica having to interfere. In the 21st minute Hondo Reigadas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vachon Langarica saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Vachon Langarica stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Hondo Reigadas's shot from short distance in the 23rd minute. Cerritos de Indios FC's Quinto Godan got a good chance for a goal in the 24th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Filipo Jares's late challenge caught a Platon AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Filipo Jares helped the player get up and apologised. The Cerritos de Indios FC fans' excitement grew in the 34th match minute when Cerritos de Indios FC's Hondo Reigadas looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. If Quirce Oliba had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Quinto Godan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Vachon Langarica tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Hondo Reigadas in the 42nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Vachon Langarica prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 43rd minute, Quirce Oliba got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After the first half Cerritos de Indios FC were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Vachon Langarica made a fantastic save in the 51st minute, when Hondo Reigadas sent off a good shot on target. After 53 minutes, Evis Mezcano mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Platon AFC and the Cerritos de Indios FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Cerritos de Indios FC booed when Platon AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Evis Mezcano didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Platon AFC's zone, Hondo Reigadas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Vachon Langarica came out of the goal and Hondo Reigadas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Hondo Reigadas took the ball and in the 63 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Vachon Langarica. Vachon Langarica dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. Vachon Langarica made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hondo Reigadas in the 67th minute of play. Hondo Reigadas could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 69th minute of the match, but Vachon Langarica made a huge save. After a defensive mix-up in Platon AFC's zone, Quinto Godan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Vachon Langarica came out of the goal and Quinto Godan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Vachon Langarica took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hondo Reigadas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 75 minutes into the game, Hondo Reigadas recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Vachon Langarica. Hondo Reigadas showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-4. After some careless play in the Platon AFC defense, Hondo Reigadas kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Vachon Langarica. The Platon AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Vachon Langarica should have stopped the shot. Hondo Reigadas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 93 minutes into the match, Nildo Soares notched a goal, 0-7, to the right of Platon AFC's Vachon Langarica. Vachon Langarica was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Cerritos de Indios FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
