Bide Marino hit a great ball. In the 12th minute, Herena Guereña got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Hori Serrana had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 20th minute, Herena Guereña managed to get in a good position for a shot. Berruti's supporters rose to their feet, but Herena Guereña was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Betadur Orosco breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 22 minutes of play, Berruti's Herena Guereña made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Betadur Orosco was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpectedly hard shot by Richie Ziarza in the 29th minute of play forced Racional's goalkeeper Betadur Orosco to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 32 minutes, Richie Ziarza managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Berruti's supporters crossed their fingers, but Richie Ziarza was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Raimundo Casanoves charged in rather forcefully in the 35th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Raimundo Casanoves the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Berruti getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Estebano Pozo hit a great ball. 39 minutes into the match, Racional's goal looked a bit too open when Herena Guereña came free, but Betadur Orosco reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience was convinced that Richie Ziarza's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Betadur Orosco was relentless in the 40th minute of the game. Saul Bayona's late challenge caught a Berruti's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Saul Bayona helped the player get up and apologised. Bide Marino hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. In the 46th minute, Richie Ziarza got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 48 minutes into the match, Herena Guereña notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Racional's Betadur Orosco. Betadur Orosco was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The wind increased when Herena Guereña made the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute Herena Guereña shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Betadur Orosco saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Generosb Letran made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zoil Becerra in the 56th minute of play. 58 minutes into the match, Racional's goalkeeper Betadur Orosco had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Richie Ziarza. 59 minutes into the match, Berruti's Herena Guereña sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Betadur Orosco narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Richie Ziarza recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 62nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zoil Becerra in the 69th minute of play forced Berruti's goalkeeper Generosb Letran to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 70th minute, Baiarte Licon managed to get in a good position for a shot. Racional's supporters rose to their feet, but Baiarte Licon was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Generosb Letran breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A collision led to Racional getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Bide Marino hit a great ball. 74 minutes into the game, Zenaido Trasgallo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Racional's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Berruti the free kick. In a very dangerous position, a player in Racional fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 74th minute. Penalty! Betadur Orosco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Herena Guereña in the 83rd minute of play. After a rather tough play, Racional's Bide Marino got a free kick in the 84th minute. If Herena Guereña had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Racional's Betadur Orosco proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 89th minute of the match, managed to save Racional from getting a goal against them. Richie Ziarza's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Betadur Orosco read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 99th minute of play. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Berruti walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
