Spectators: 6706 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1706, VIP seats: 0) In the 3rd minute Cordarrel Sastre shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Simon Correduria saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Peñarol's Edwardo Caso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Martinez Conllas in the 9th minute of play. In the 10th minute, Anastasio Arguiz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Martinez Conllas in the 11th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Edwardo Caso prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 17th minute, Martinez Conllas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 25 minutes into the match, Peñarol's goal looked a bit too open when Martinez Conllas came free, but Edwardo Caso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Simon Correduria made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cordarrel Sastre in the 27th minute of play. If Eloi Casares had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Eloi Casares got in the 30th a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Simon Correduria handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. The supporters of Rolon AFC booed when Peñarol was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Adriano Brañas didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rolon AFC's Txema Faubelo shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 36th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Edwardo Caso but with some difficulty. Corderall Maestro came free with the goalkeeper in the 40th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Edwardo Caso could save by the left post. Edwardo Caso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Martinez Conllas, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. With a little luck, Peñarol's Edwardo Caso got control of the ball when Corderall Maestro tried to sneak it across the goal line. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The wind increased when Cordarrel Sastre made the kick off in the second half. In the 51st match minute, Peñarol was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eloi Casares to maneuver through the defense. After 54 played minutes Rolon AFC got a freekick which was hit by Bero Torres. Cordarrel Sastre sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Corderall Maestro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edwardo Caso having to interfere. Edwardo Caso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Martinez Conllas in the 71st minute of play. In the 72nd minute, Martinez Conllas made a precise shot to the right of Edwardo Caso. Peñarol's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. In the 77thth minute of the game Martinez Conllas who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Peñarol's Edwardo Caso was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 78 minutes into the match, Peñarol's Cordarrel Sastre sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Simon Correduria narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Corderall Maestro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Edwardo Caso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Corderall Maestro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Edwardo Caso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Martinez Conllas, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. Rolon AFC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
